http://wildmntthyme.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Journey to the Wild Mountain Thyme Farm. Or is it really Hart's Folly? Thursday, February 11, 2010. Time to make plans. So it is the middle of February and the planning has begun. How to make the garden better this year, getting the soap shop up and running, new animals, etc. etc. And of course there is the plan for sheep. I am still investigating types of sheep to add to compliment the goats and their mohair. They will graze with the goats for now and may eventually be separated. Yes that is right, Goat...

Journey to the Wild Mountain Thyme Farm: August 2009
http://wildmntthyme.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Journey to the Wild Mountain Thyme Farm. Or is it really Hart's Folly? Friday, August 21, 2009. An amazing sight greets me every evening as I go out to check the chickens. At least 100 dragonflies are flitting about our 'yard'. As you watch them, it seems there are more and more flying about. It gets pretty entertaining when the chickens think they can actually catch the dragonflies. Everyday, the fog moves through the mountains and our valley. This is one of the sights that I love best here. Hook that h...

Journey to the Wild Mountain Thyme Farm: July 2010
http://wildmntthyme.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Journey to the Wild Mountain Thyme Farm. Or is it really Hart's Folly? Thursday, July 29, 2010. I haven't blogged in awhile, between the heat and health issues, it has been a rough patch. We have had a few weeks of heat and humidity, (I know, who hasn't)and I am learning that the RA doesn't go well with either of those. At least I assume it is the RA that has just had me beat. Sunday, July 4, 2010. A day for ducks. While I know they are incredibly happy with the end results, the ducks let us know that we...

Journey to the Wild Mountain Thyme Farm. Or is it really Hart's Folly? Saturday, December 25, 2010. All I know is their bellies are hanging low and udders are coming in. I know that both of these girls are not first time mothers, so I am hoping they will do just fine with minimal help from me. I have been keeping an eye on them to see any other signs, but without knowing just what to look for I could be hit over the head with one and not realize it. Luna and Terra are quite big now, but are still puppies...

Journey to the Wild Mountain Thyme Farm. Or is it really Hart's Folly? Friday, January 28, 2011. A snowy walk to the barn. We have been lucky to have missed the really big snows that have been hitting the east coast, but we have had some really pretty ones. This morning is one of those, I am amazed at how things look completely different with a coating of snow. The garden in winter. The hens are heading into the tom's pen. They like to roost with the ducks. The barn in all her glory. Alice has mixed feel...

Journey to the Wild Mountain Thyme Farm. Or is it really Hart's Folly? Friday, February 25, 2011. But wait. There's more. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Mom makes the trip to the chicken house before I got a chance to shovel a path. She is quite the pioneer. Contrary to what some people think, Oscar loves the snow, he clearly loves being a snow puppy. He and Max are having a grand time. Wallace and Marmalade are in agreement with Maggie, the outside is just no fun. Sunday, February 20, 2011. The girls weren...
