Diary of Dadness: March 2015
http://dadness.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Autumn is here. The beautiful warm days are persisting, and with each one I am sitting at my desk looking out, wondering if this will be the last chance to take out the wave ski. I braved the squishy sludge and pushed out into the glassy water. Its a fairly sheltered bay, sitting between the Domain and the cemetery. I wanted to paddle out of the shelter and around the point of the cemetery so I could admire the tanks from the water. Monday, March 30, 2015. Chess Club for grown ups.

Diary of Dadness: November 2014
http://dadness.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. When Phillip Hughes was suddenly drafted into the Australian cricket team, they must have got him to pop in to Channel 9 so they could film his little video portrait. When they mention a player or when he comes in to bat, they play this clip of them slowly turning around, lifting their head and giving you a look, you know, like you have just asked to dance with their girlfriend. Phillip however jerked around as though someone had just dropped a fully laden tea tray. Last week M...

Diary of Dadness: October 2014
http://dadness.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2014. Royal Hobart Show 2014. We took the boys and Karri and Miah to the show yesterday. Did the farm animals first, then crazy rides, then food, then watched the axe throwing competition, then the pig races, went back for pavlovas, a go on the dodgems and collected showbags on our way out. All went off pretty well. Some highlights: we watched the judging of several classes of alpaca. These black ones have huge. This is the zipper. Marcus, Michael and Miah are in one of those pink...

Diary of Dadness: Paddle therapy
http://dadness.blogspot.com/2015/04/paddle-therapy.html
Friday, April 24, 2015. Some days I have no client work to do and no money coming in. Jobs get put on hold, clients appear to be ignoring invoices that are due - this combines to throw me into a bit of a funk. I resolved to do something different yesterday morning - just go for another paddle. It wasn't sunny but it was still and reasonably mild. I didn't make up my mind until the last minute, when I chose Geilston Bay. Mum and Dad are away in Fiji (hi! View from Geilston Bay boat ramp by ronrainbow.
