Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Zachary Durham Olson was born August 5, 2009 at 5:30 pm, 7lbs 80z. I have to say everyone who told me the second delivery is easier was right on. I was induced in the morning, had my epidural an hour later, sat like a beached whale for most of the day and then pushed for maybe 10 minutes and he was here! Monday, July 7, 2008. A little sugar please. This morning I got the kids their oatmeal and left the brown sugar out (big mistake). I went upstairs to start unpacking and sorting through loads and loads of laundry, and came down to find Claire had helped herself to a little extra brown sugar! Enjoy it now Claire, I don't make the same mistake twice. She had already eaten most of the oatmeal, so she was eating an entire bowl of sugar. 4th of July with the Hafens. Claire and cousin Kate.
