Up To My Knees in Knit. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. It's Great to be 8! I don't think Isaac looked forward to another birthday quite like his 8th birthday! He was so excited to not only get baptized, but also start scouts. For his birthday, he got to invite about 12 friends over for some Laser Tag! It was a lot of fun! Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Normally things like Mother's Day and my birthday are just a big letdown, so I don't ever let my hopes get high. But this year, Mother's Day was AWESOME! Everyone let me sleep in, primary singing in Sacrament Meeting went well, I got a LONG NAP, and my kids tried SO HARD not to fight and to be helpful. If they'd start to whine (Lacey) over something I'd say, "But remember? It's Mother's Day, so no being bad! It worked 95% of the time! I seriously milked the day for all I could!

I FINALLY had my Oscar party that i have been wanting to do for years. it wasn't as fancy pants as i wanted, but there's many, many more to come. i want to go bigger the next time. it turned out well, brian brought the oven over {on the front yard} and we did pizzas again. i just wish i had a bigger living room with more space for everyone.
