Pottery. then Poetry.then Prose. This is my poetry blog subheader. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. I want to walk down just the right path,. To stir up and smell just the right pungent leaves. I want to lie along the creeks edge,. To cover the massive root of the sycamore tree. With my whole body. I want to live,. To pulse and soak,. To catch the sun in the sparkle of a water pool. And let it all the way in. I want to find the smooth rock,. The striped mushroom,. The magic golden leaf. Orchids grow in trees.

Wild Iris Clay: June 2013

http://clay-woodwork.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

Pottery and woodwork: A look inside the studio. Friday, June 7, 2013. I've already shared the new look of my green and lilac/blue glazes. On the new clay. Here are more glaze results I'm happy with:. The sunshine (and my camera) lightens the glaze, but it's actually a deeper, darker blue than before. I'd call the color a deep raspberry, not as pink as it appears here. Matte white with a leopard-looking koi fish. I have a lot of work to glaze! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Where to go from here?

Here's a tour of my setup. My lovely booth mate, selling her cute concrete rhubarb leaf impressions. I should have gotten closeups on my appetizer trios! Food and water bowls for pets. Pottery and woodwork: A look inside the studio. Saturday, August 24, 2013. Animals, Bicycles, and Pots in Happy Homes. This is a picture I received from my client in Missouri - she originally sent me photos and asked me to make a vase for this particular table. That was quite a challenge! I'm very excited that it turned out well. This client really likes her new food dish - but I'm not sure how content she is that the bowl is EMPTY. Here's some of my latest work, just glazed, ready for the kiln:. Things ...

Pottery and woodwork: A look inside the studio. Sunday, April 26, 2015. April snowshowers. bring home improvement projects. Welcome to springtime in the mountains! It's hard to believe that yesterday the deck was completely dry. Vladimir the snow-o-meter is on duty! I think he's expecting a romp through the winter wonderland, but I have no intention of spending time outside today. Monday, 30 January 2012. Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Clubb. I am feeling lonely this evening…. it would be really nice if I had a man here to cuddle up next too and watch some TV with…. That’s all… not really asking for much…. just some genuine company, Matty would be prefect. I am not sure if I am feeling like this because I am pre-menstrual, or just because that’s how I am actually feeling. So I sit here in my lounge room, nurturing these rather intense feelings with a large bowl of raspberry aeroplane j...
